Triangle Special Taiko wants to spread the word.
Triangle Special Taiko has been invited to Japan to be one in just 25 groups to participate in a national festival showcasing taiko players with disabilities. Going to Japan is not a simple undertaking, and our players need help and support to make this trip a possibility. Triangle Special Taiko, along with Triangle Taiko, will be holding 2 concerts to raise money for the upcoming trip.

Triangle Special Taiko invited to Japan
Triangle Special Taiko has been invited by the Japan Taiko Foundation to participate in the Twelfth Annual Disabled Person's Nippon Taiko Festival in October. To help them get ready, Triangle Special Taiko and Triangle Taiko will be holding two fund raiser concerts. Come on out and have fun, enjoy the music, and help send our players to Japan.

Nippon Club 5th Annual Tanabata / Obon Natsumatsuri
On Saturday, July 10, Triangle Taiko helped celebrate Tanabata, a Japanese summer festival. Founding member, Rocky Iwashima, helped keep the beat as many attendees danced a traditional Bon-Odori. Watermelon, grilled corn, and red bean snow cones were enjoyed by all the members after we shared some of our favorite songs.
